It is with a heavy heart that announce that The Exodus has been disbanded. It's been nearly a year since the clan was formed. We've made friends and had a lot of fun. Squad 288 has graciously accepted us and I urge you to head to their website and apply (
link). Tell them I referred you.
Sadly, I'll not be continuing on. I have gone over to Warhammer Online for the time being. It's got a lot in common with WoW, and I'm certain I'll get bored soon enough. When that happens, I'm sure to return, and I'll look to Squad 288 first.

The Fate of The Exodus has been decided. We will be merging with the clan Squad 288 (
link). They are a very active clan with the same basic focus as we had: Mainly PvE, with some PvP when TR releases more options for it.
My plan is simple: I will be online tomorrow evening (Thursday, 9 October) at 9pm Eastern (6pm Pacific). At that time, anyone who is online can request items from the Clan Lockbox and I'll hand them out. I will also divide the credits up among the players that are online. If you cannot be on during that time, or you really-really-really want something from the box and want to make sure you get it, put a post in the forums asking for the item. I will set it aside and we can make arrangements for delivery afterward. Unclaimed items will be stored in my footlocker, however you may find it difficult to contact me after the merger is complete.
Once the lockbox is emptied, I will kick all members and disband the clan. This will ensure that nobody is stuck with the 7-day waiting period. If you can't wait that long, let me know and I'll kick you early.
The remaining active members of The Exodus are encouraged to register and apply on the Squad 288 website (
link). Make sure to point out that I referred you, so that Battle (the clan leader) knows where you are coming from.
As for me, I have moved on to Warhammer Online. I play on the Monolith server, Destruction side, if anyone is interested in joining me there. Otherwise, I hope I see you around.

[RESOLVED] - 8/27/2008
Due to a bug affecting a small number of clans in-game, your My Clan window will not correctly show you as a member of the The Exodus. Rest assured that if you were a member before the latest patch, you are still a member. If you aren't sure, do a /who on yourself and you'll see. I have a petition in for it and it has been moved up to the attention of the Developers. This could take a bit but I hope to have it resolved soon. I will post updates here when I get more info.

After much consideration, I have asked Broadrick to step up as an Officer. He's been with us for awhile now, he knows the game, and he's always happy to help. Be sure to congratulate him when you see him next!

For various reasons, I have been unable to spend much time online lately. I have also been remiss in that I have not informed any of you of this. The coming weekend will keep me offline but I will be on next week, albeit at very odd hours. I assure you I'm not gone, but I really can't wait for things to settle down here.
In somewhat related news, I have been informed that Quoin and Toombs have moved on to another game (Age of Conan). Additionally, both Zevo and Julian have been incommunicado for quite some time. Effective immediately, I am demoting them to the rank of Sergeant. This creates a significant void within the Officer ranks. I will be appointing new, more active officers over the next week, but my first appointment to Officer is Exalted. He's been a key sounding board for our recent changes and is very active. I really think he'll do a great job, so Congratulate him when you next see him!
